Meet Dobreena
SENIOR MISS BLACK AMERICA 2026 · SPEAKER · ACTRESS · ARTIST · ADVOCATE
My Journey
From winning national titles to inspiring audiences, my path has been shaped by resilience, grace, and a passion for uplifting others.
Born January 5, 1955 in Charleston, SC and raised in New York, I graduated from Pratt Institute in 1981. I’ve spent decades as a working actress across film and theatre — most recently as Thelma in the Off-Broadway production of The Funeral.
In 2026, I made history as Senior Miss Black America 2026 at the age of 71 — representing New Jersey and appearing twice on Times Square billboards.
Every story I share is rooted in real experience and heartfelt growth.
Life Lessons
As a speaker, I move rooms of young adults and seniors. My focus: isolated seniors who feel unseen. My message: health, confidence, and self-worth are not age-locked.
Show up. Stay present. Keep serving.
I am a Capricorn, a world traveler, a poet, a painter, a seamstress — and proof that legacy is built, not given.
